What is a Small Report?

What is a Small Report and why would you want to focus on them and not eBooks?

Here is what a small report is in a nutshell and what it is not. It is exactly what the name implies a “small report.” Normally a small report is between 5 – 20 pages in length as opposed to an eBook which normally will be anywhere from twenty-five to hundreds of pages.

A small report can be written relatively fast in as much as one to several days. A full-blown eBook can take up to several months to complete. My favorite argument for small reports is they are normally concise and to the point and you can read the entire report in most cases in less than a half an hour. An eBook may take several hours to read and you still end up with the same basic information. I don’t know about you but I like the time savings.

Here is something else to consider. A small report cost much less than an eBook and a potential buyer would rather shell out their email address for a free report or $5 - $15 dollars for a paid report as opposed to $47 for an eBook. This also will give them an opportunity to sample the quality of your content with a minimal risk. Especially when you are unknown to a potential customer. Let’s face it; folks spend more money on renting movies on any given weekend.

That’s pretty much the basics of what a small report is all about. To go into greater depth concerning small reports would be getting away from the scope of this report and it’s subject. With that said we will close this introduction.
