I am planning on having a personal website and linking many businesses and services through their affiliate programs. Has anyone ever tried this? I only expect to make a very small amount of money, but I am curious.

I’ve seen several pawn shops and variety stores that plaster a dozen affiliate ads on their stores like "Sign up for home phone service" or "Sign up for DSL" or "Pay you DishNetwork, BellSouth, etc. Bill here". What are some good affiliate programs for brick and mortar stores, and where can you find them? They seem hidden from the standard searching I’ve been doing.

What are the best affiliate programs to do?

It seems to me like poker is good but may be getting old, and I know about surveys, but are these 2 affiliate programs the best? Also, does anyone have a layout or way to set them up to make them profitable? Thanks.

I’d like to get an online business going to augment my current income. Affiliate programs seem to be the best way to get started for the least amount of money in the shortest period of time. Assuming I don’t already have a web site, what’s the best program to get started with?

Anyone have first hand experience?
